I am not a fashion photographer,
I am a photographer.
I tell stories from both sides of perception, reality and imagination.
FASHION doesn’t really mean anything for me, it’s just a commercial invention to classify people and try to understand their world.
Dealing with clothes and models doesn’t make you a fashion photographer, it makes you a fiction photographer.
I tell stories about beautiful people, or not, half way between reality and fiction, having one part of my mind in both worlds.
Fashion is not all beautiful, in fact it’s a religion where quite everyone is running from something, and they haven’t discovered what yet. Most of the time they are running from themselves.
For me, fashion is all about wandering & luxury.
My next exhibition in Paris is about lost and wandering girls, but what are they running from ?
